Belleville HS softball team routs Science Park

BELLEVILLE – Luciana Gilfone had three hits and four RBI and Jasmine LaTorre and CherylAnn Nicosia each had three hits and two RBI to lead the Belleville High School varsity softball team to an 18-2 win over Science Park on May 2 in Newark in a Super Essex Conference-Colonial Division game.

Victoria Bruno had a double and four RBI; Kristan Lombardi had a hit and two RBI; and Kaila Freid had one RBI. Kara Sica threw a one-hitter with five strikeouts for the Bucs, who moved to a 12-4 record.
