UPPER MONTCLAIR – Michael Strahan, the amiable and popular New York Giants Hall of Famer and morning talk show host, will sign copies of his book “Wake Up Happy” at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on May 3 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Strahan, the NFL’s all-time single-season sack leader, has seen his profile continue to soar after helping lead the Giants to the 2008 Super Bowl, the last game he ever played. He became a commentator on Fox’s NFL Sunday pregame show, and in 2012 he replaced Regis Philbin as co-host of the hugely popular “Live! with Kelly & Michael,” currently the second most-watched syndicated daytime talk show.
This fall, Strahan, 44, will join ABC’s Good Morning America as a full-time co-anchor. Strahan, who spent his entire 15-year career (1993-2007) with the Giants, had been a contributor to GMA over the last two years.
In Wake Up Happy, Strahan shares personal stories about how he gets and stays motivated and how readers can do the same in their quest to attain their life goals.
Books are available for purchase at the Museum. To RSVP call (973) 655-2378. Visitors will also get an opportunity to see the Museum’s new exhibit, “Champions in Bronze: The Sculptures of Marc Mellon,” which recently opened.
