UPPER MONTCLAIR – A dynamic experience for high school and college students interested in careers in sports, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center will be hosting its fifth annual Sports Business Academy (SBA) from August 8-10, 2016.
The SBA, presented in partnership with Lunar Sports Group, provides students a unique real-life learning experience from top industry professionals. The three-day academy is also an opportunity for students to understand the multi-billion dollar sports business at every level, while helping them build their own network.
Some top-level executives committed to speak at this year’s SBA include: Scott O’Neil, chief executive officer of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center; Jean Afterman, vice president and assistant general manager of the New York Yankees; Adrian Wojnarowski, a dominant force in NBA reporting and founder of the website, The Vertical; and Mitch Hall, director of premium partnerships of the New York Jets.
Registration for the academy (9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day), is $275, if registered before May 15, 2016. To enroll or for more info, visit www.lunarsportsgroup.com or call (732) 682-6063 or www.yogiberramuseum.org or call (973) 655-6891.
