BLOOMFIELD – The Bloomfield High School boys’ varsity basketball team featured three players who made All-Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division.
Myles Toppin, a junior guard, made second team All-SEC-Liberty after averaging 8.4 points per game.
Junior forward Al-Samad Henderson and freshman guard Michael Ramos each made honorable mention. Ramos averaged 8.0 points and Henderson averaged 3.7 points per game.
In addition, Toppin and Ramos also made Worrall Media second team.
The Bengals had a very young team this season, finishing with a 9-17 record. Other young players who made key contributions were junior guards Najeem Wilson and Francis Lorenzo and sophomore guard Kyle Barrow. The key seniors were forward Olivier Georges and guard Brandon Apblanalp.
