Bloomfield HS boys’ basketball team tops Randolph to improve to 6-3

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Senior forward Will Robinson scored 21 points and senior guard Tochi Anyanwu had 16 points with four 3-pointers to lead the Bloomfield High School boys’ basketball team to a 57-48 win over Randolph on Jan. 6 at County College of Morris.

Senior center Isiah McCallam had 10 points and nine rebounds and senior guard Basheer Salaam had seven points and five rebounds for the Bengals, who improved to a 6-3 record.

In earlier action, the Bengals fell to undefeated Irvington, 60-55, in Irvington on Jan. 3.  Robinson scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds; Anyanwu had 11 points and six rebounds and junior guard Vinny Torrisi had nine points and five steals. McCallam had seven points and nine rebounds and senior forwards Kevin Mitchell and Gael Refuse each had four points.
