BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield High School boys cross-country team is having a great season with an 8-0 record in the Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division .
On Sept. 24, the Bengals will conclude its regular season against Glen Ridge and Caldwell. “All three teams are evenly matched and should be a close contest,” BHS head coach Chris Romano said.
The BHS girls team started the season 1-4, has has worked hard and improved to 3-4 with wins against Montclair and Verona. On Sept. 24, BHS has a chance of having a winning record in the very tough SEC-American Division with wins against Columbia and Nutley.
The SEC Championships will be held on Oct. 2 at Branch Brook Park, followed by the Shore Coaches Invitational at the famous Holmdel course on Oct. 5.
