Bloomfield HS boys’ soccer team kicks up four straight victories

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield High School boys’ varsity soccer team defeated Columbia, Science Park, and Newark Central to extend its win streak to four games and improve to a 6-4 record on the season.

David Quinatoa and Nick Rizzi each had a goal and Jason Ricca had two assists to lead the Bengals in a 2-1 win over Columbia on Oct. 2 at Watsessing Park.

Quinatoa had a goal and assisted on Mesmin Dembassa’s goal in the 2-1 win over Science Park on Oct. 5 in Newark. Marco Colasurdo also had an assist and Matt Vitella made four saves for the Bengals.

Jean Pereya had two goals; Marco Colasurdo, Quinatoa, and Nicholas Rizzi each had a goal and Anthony Rizzi had two assists in the 5-2 win at Newark Central on Oct. 8.
