BHS this season also beat West Orange – a team that qualified for the state playoffs – by a score of 22-21 in overtime on Oct. 19 at Foley Field. The win, which came in Week 7, snapped a four-game losing streak, demonstrating the Bengals’ resiliency.
Indeed, head coach Mike Carter, who completed his 28th season at the helm, was proud of his team’s effort throughout the season, particularly the seniors’ dedication. Carter noted how the team battled through adversity and finished the season on a winning note.
