Bloomfield HS football team defeats Columbia to improve to 2-1

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Joseph Orsita rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries and quarterback Kyle Tice passed for 160 yards and three touchdowns as the Bloomfield HIgh School varsity football team defeated host Columbia HS, 42-21, Friday, Sept. 14, at Underhill Field in Maplewood in a Super Football Conference-Liberty Blue Division game.

The Bengals improved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the division. Columbia fell to 1-2.

Bloomfield will visit Bayonne on Feb. 21 in a SFC crossover game. Bayonne is coming of a 58-0 win over Dickinson to improve to 2-1.
