Bloomfield HS football team to visit Dickinson in season finale

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield High School football team hopes to end the season with a victory and avoid a winless season.

The Bengals will visit Dickinson of Jersey City on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. at Caven Point in the season finale.

Bloomfield lost to East Orange Campus, 26-6, Friday, Nov. 1, at Foley Field to fall to 0-9.

EOC improved to 7-1 and will host Montclair in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey Section 1, Group 5 state playoffs on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Paul Robeson Stadium. EOC is the No. 3 seed. Montclair is seeded No. 6.

Dickinson is 1-7 with its only win coming via forfeit against New Brunswick on Sept. 20 in its second game.
