Bloomfield HS girls’ basketball team defeats Verona in season opener

BLOOMFIELD – Samantha Corio had 11 points, and Grace Cannon and Aniyah Allen each had nine points to lead the Bloomfield High School girls’ varsity basketball team to a 39-20 win over Verona in the season opener on Friday, Dec 18, at BHS.

Leading 19-11 at the half, the Bengals outscored Verona, 14-4, in the third quarter to extend it to 33-15.
