BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Sophomore Brianna Trigueros-Pericone scored on an assist from senior Anna Perrotta in the second half, but the 13th-seeded Bloomfield High School girls’ varsity soccer team lost to 12th-seeded Mount St. Dominic Academy, 2-1, in the second preliminary round of the Essex County Tournament on Oct. 13 at Essex Valley School in West Caldwell. Both teams received a bye in the first preliminary round.
BHS moved to a 3-8-1 record.
