BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The 16th-seeded Bloomfield High School girls’ varsity soccer team was scheduled to visit top-seeded and unbeaten West Orange in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 state tournament on Oct. 30. The winner was scheduled to face the winner of No. 9 Mount Olive and No. 8 Bergen Tech in the quarterfinals on Nov. 2.
Bloomfield fell at Pascack Hills, 1-0, Oct. 2 to move to a 9-11 record. West Orange won the Essex County Tournament title on Oct. 26 to improve to 15-0-2.
