BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield High School girls’ varsity volleyball team defeated Dickinson, 25-10, 25-20, Sept. 30, in Jersey City in a non-conference match to snap a two-match losing streak and improve to a 6-4 record.
In their previous match, BHS dropped a tough three-set match to Montclair Kimberley Academy on Sept. 29 in Super Essex Conference-American Division play.
After losing the first set, 25-16, the Bengals took the second set, 25-17. But MKA won the decisive third set, 25-13.
The loss was the second straight for the Bengals, who moved to a 5-4 overall record and 2-4 in the SEC-American.
