BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Bloomfield High School was the site of an historic event.
A first-ever New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association girls-only wrestling tournament was held at BHS on Dec. 29.
The NJSIAA has sanctioned girls’ wrestling as a sport for the first time this season. Girls’ wrestling will also take place at the NJSIAA state finals in Atlantic City in March.
