BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Paramus Catholic High School senior Andrea Cerdan, a Bloomfield resident, signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her tennis career at the University of Michigan on a full four-year athletic scholarship.

Cerdan last month won the NJSIAA state singles tournament championship to cap an undefeated 23-0 season. It was her second state singles tournament title in her career after winning it as a sophomore in 2016. She did not compete in high school as a junior in order to participate in USTA tournaments.  For her HS career, she finished with a sensational 78-1 record, losing only six total sets. Her only loss was in the state singles quarterfinals to the eventual champion in her freshman year.
