BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The eighth annual Bloomfield High School Alumni Football Camp was once again a success.
Under pleasant weather conditions, the one-day free camp took place Sunday, June 24, at Foley Field.
The campers included Bloomfield boys and girls. The camp directors consisted of BHS football alumni who were former players and/or coaches at the Division I, II, III, NFL, NFL Europe, CFL, and Arena Football League levels.
Wearing NFL PLAY60 t-shirts, the campers were divided into several groups with different stations that focused on developing their conditioning and football skills, such as blocking passing, catching, throwing and running techniques.
The camp is directed by founder Anthony Lambo, a 1996 BHS graduate who later played at Virginia Tech and signed with the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.
