BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield High School boys basketball team defeated Belleville, 62-45, in the season opener on Dec. 17 at Abundant Life Academy in Nutley. Shayne Hinton, a junior, had 21 points, and senior Uma Kalu had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Bengals.
