BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Kaitlyn Adams finished 18th overall out of 94 finishers in the girls race to lead the Bloomfield High School cross-country teams at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association North Jersey, Section 1, Group 4, championships held at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Adams was clocked in 22:22.00. Isabella Copeck was 24th in 22:44.00; Flavia Capet, 77th in 26:24; Sophie Harrison, 86th in 27:15.00; and Terese Nole, 87th
in 27:55.00 for BHS, which took 10th out of 13 teams. Ridgewood won the girls team title.
On the boys side, Robert Wolf placed 26th overall in 17:46.00 out of 102 finishers to lead the Bengals. John Leard was 47th in 19:25.00; Kevin Obiedzinski, 76th in 20:26.00; Sebastian Garcia, 77th in 20:26.00; Nicholas Obiedzinski, 81st in 20:51.00; and Patrick Brown, 82nd in 20:54.00. BHS took 11th overall out of 14 teams. Clifton won the boys team title.
