East Orange Campus HS boys’ basketball team tops Bloomfield

EAST ORANGE – Randy Joseph scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds; Marquise Kindel had 11 points and Jordan Taylor had 10 points to lead the East Orange Campus High School boys’ varsity basketball team to a 59-46 road win over Bloomfield on Saturday, Jan. 9.

Anton Lawrence had eight points, five assists and five steals; Dwight Pressley had eight points; Arthur Mitchell had three points and Sekou Touray and Syid Daniels each had two for the Jaguars, who improved to a 5-4 record.

Kindel scored 20 points and Pressley had 12  in the 56-51 win at Columbia on Jan. 5 in Maplewood. Taylor had 11 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Jaguars, who led 27-22 at the half.

The Jaguars then fell at West Side, 60-56, Jan. 7, in Newark.
