EAST ORANGE, NJ – The East Orange Campus High School varsity football team, under second-year head coach Al-Majid Hutchins, featured several outstanding players during their 6-4 playoff season.
The Jaguars had six players earn All-North Jersey Super Football Conference-Liberty Blue Division honors.
Rady Rojas, Khalil Holcomb, Nasir Neal and Naseem White made First Team; Giovanni Shine made Second Team; and Donovan Holloway made Honorable Mention.
Rojas, a junior running back/linebacker, rushed for 550 yards and 10 touchdowns on 76 carries and had 12 receptions for 202 yards offensively. On defense, Rojas posted 93 ½ tackles with four sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown.
Holcomb, a senior defensive tackle, collected 78 tackles with 11 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
Neal, a junior linebacker, had 71 tackles with two sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown.
White, a senior wide receiver/quarterback, had 27 receptions for 513 yards and eight touchdowns; and rushed for 364 yards and two scores on 26 carries.
Shine, a senior defensive back, had 64 tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception and one touchdown. Shine also was a running back.
Holloway was honored as a offensive tackle on Honorable Mention.
