East Orange Campus HS softball team gears up for state sectional tournament

EAST ORANGE – The East Orange Campus High School varsity softball team received the No. 15 seed in the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 4 tournament and will visit second-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan in the first round on May 23.

Naiva Altenor had three hits and two RBI; Brittany Alicea had two hits and three RBI; Tiara Bradley, Kiara Cruz, and Josie Pascual each had three hits and one RBI; and Kayla Cruz, Marilyn Mejia and Jamilah Stevenson each had three hits in the 17-12 win over Technology on May 17 in Newark. The Jaguars improved to a 12-2 record.
