Glen Ridge HS baseball standout Robert Spitaletta signs with Penn State-Brandywine

GLEN RIDGE – Glen Ridge High School senior Robert Spitaletta, sitting, signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at Penn State University-Brandywine in the fall.  Standing from left to right are GRHS head baseball coach Liam Penberthy, Tim Liddy, Director of Student Activities, and Mike Bruno of GLA Recruiting.

Spitaletta, a shortstop, last season batted .357 with 30 hits, including five doubles and 14 RBI.

The Ridgers are off to a 2-0 start this season.
