Glen Ridge HS boys’ basketball team defeats Boonton in season opener

GLEN RIDGE – Tyler Liddy scored 14 points and George Kinzler had 11 points to pace the Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity basketball team to a 51-38 win over Boonton in the Ridgers’ season opener on Monday, Dec. 21, in Boonton.

David Weissberger had seven points; Charlie DeLuca had six points; Liam Gunnarsson contributed five points; Ryan Liddy and Nick Weber-Zazzu each had three points; and Max Thompson added two points for the Ridgers, who outscored Boonton, 19-0, in the second quarter for a 27-10 lead.
