Glen Ridge HS boys’ basketball team seeks to regroup

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity basketball team hopes to bounce back from a slow start to the season.

Sam Trunley scored 17 points and Simon Low had 10 points, but the Ridgers lost to Newark Collegiate, 56-42, Jan. 4, to move to a 2-5 record. Kevin Mathew had eight points; Carter Koenig had three points; and Matt Van Bloem and Joe DeLuca each added two points.

GRHS was scheduled to visit Montclair Kimberley Academy on Jan. 8 and will host Nutley on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. and host University on Jan. 15 at 4 p.m.
