Glen Ridge HS boys’ lacrosse team looking to bounce back

GLEN RIDGE – The Glen Ridge High School boys’ lacrosse team hopes to regroup after losing three straight games to move to a 1-3 record.

The Ridgers lost at Mountain Lakes, 10-7, April 5. Cole Travia had two goals; Tyler Grady had one goal and one assist; and Michael Faugno and Joe Marchesano each had a goal.

GRHS fell at West Essex, 7-4, April 7, in North Caldwell. Owen Gleeson had a hat trick; Trevor Deubner had one goal and one assist; and Faugno added an assist. Adam Juros made 10 saves for the Ridgers.

Grady had two goals and one assist and Gleeson and Trevor Deubner each had two goals in the 12-6 loss to Ramapo on April 9 in the home opener at Watsessing Park field in Bloomfield.

GRHS will host Montclar, Thursday, April 14, at 4 p.m.; host Montclair Kimberley, Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. and host Bergen Catholic, Monday, April 18,at 4:30 p.m., all at Watsessing Park Field.
