GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team defeated West Essex, 7-5, April 7, at Watsessing Park for its first win of the season. Tyler Strong had two goals; Joe Marchesano, Ege Zeybek and Grant Cole each had a goal and an assist; and Max Auborn and Brendan Easter each had a goal. Jake Kuhn and Kyle Rochester each had four groundballs and Marchesano had three groundballs.
GRHS then fell at Bergen Catholic, 8-2, April 9, in Oradell to move to 1-3.
