Glen Ridge HS field hockey team attends clinic directed by Montclair State University team

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Montclair State University field hockey team and head coach Eileen O’Reilly, along with assistant coach Hannah Weitzmann, ran a clinic for the Glen Ridge High School field hockey team on Tuesday, August 22, at George Washington field in Glen Ridge.  It was a great success.

GRHS Athletic Director Tim Liddy, who also was present at the clinic, said, “It was great to see the Montclair State coaching staff and players working with our players. It was great to see how eager they were to instruct and how eager and receptive our players were to learn and improve. I am so grateful that the Montclair State team took time out of their daily schedule to help our players. I cannot thank them enough. I hope they have a great season.”

The GRHS field hockey team, under head coach Shauna Caulfield, will begin the regular season Sept. 7 at West Essex in North Caldwell.
