Glen Ridge HS field hockey team earns win and tie to move to 6-1-3

The Glen Ridge High School varsity field hockey team defeated Summit and tied Kent Place to improve to a 6-1-3 record.

Gretchen Gilmore, a sophomore, had a hat trick and junior Grace Twitchell had two goals and an assist in the 5-1 win at Summit on Sept. 27. Junior goalkeeper Caroline Keavey made two saves.
Sarah Looney, a sophomore, scored on an assist from senior Erin Chung; senior Sydney Collins made 12 saves and Keavey made five saves in the 1-1 tie with Kent Place on Monday, Oct. 2, at George Washington field.
