Glen Ridge HS field hockey team falls in ECT semifinals

GLEN RIDGE, NJ — The third-seeded Glen Ridge High School field hockey team fell at second-seeded Montclair, 4-0, in the semifinals of the Essex County Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 12, to move to an 8-6 record.

In their previous game, the Ridgers defeated Union, 4-1, Thursday, Oct. 10, in Union. Gretchen Gilmore had three goals; Grace O’Keefe had a goal and Julia Hegarty had an assist.
