GLEN RIDGE, NJ – Maggie Smith had two goals and two assists as the Glen Ridge High School varsity field hockey team defeated Cranford, 4-0, Sept. 12, in Cranford to move to a 1-1 record. Gretchen Gilmore and Grace Twitchell each had one goal; Sarah Looney and Elizabeth O’Connell each had one assist; and Caroline Keavy made one save for GRHS.
The Ridgers lost to Kent Place, 9-0, in the season opener Sept. 8 at George Washington field.
