Glen Ridge HS field hockey team sees win streak end

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School varsity field hockey team hopes to get back on the winning track.

The Ridgers’ three-game winning streak was snapped with a 4-1 loss to Montclair on Sept. 20 at George Washington Field. Maggie Smith scored on an assist by Grace Twitchell. Caroline Keavey made six saves.

GRHS then fell to Johnson, 5-3, Sept. 22, in Clark to move to a 4-4 record. Smith had one goal and one assist; and Elizabeth O’Connell and Gretchen Gilmore each had one goal.
