Glen Ridge HS football team looks to bounce back vs. MKA

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School varsity football team hopes to bounce back from its season opener.

The Ridgers will host Montclair Kimberley Academy this Saturday at Hurrell Field at 2 p.m.

In Steve Trivino’s debut as Ridgers head coach, Glen Ridge dropped a 52-0 decision to a strong Shabazz team in the season opener Friday, August 31, at Hurrell Field. Shabazz is the defending NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 state champions.

MKA is 1-0 after beating Highland Park, 41-0, August 31.
