GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity basketball team split its first two games of the season.
Senior Claire McMahon scored 29 points to lead the Ridgers to a 60-14 home win over Orange in the season opener Friday, Dec. 14.
Senior Jenny Lisovicz had 11 points and freshman Elettra Giantomenico had seven points for the Ridgers. Senior Zipporah Hommel added four points.
The Ridgers then lost at Brearley, 41-26, the next day in Kenilworth.
