Glen Ridge HS girls’ basketball team seeks to get back on track

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity basketball team hoped to return to its winning ways this week.

The Ridgers lost to both Caldwell and Immaculate Conception of Montclair to move to a 3-5 record.

Junior co-captain Claire McMahon scored 16 points in the 52-33 loss at Caldwell on Jan. 5. Senior co-captain Lindsay Jaiyesimi had seven points; sophomore Haleigh Pine had six points and junior co-captain Jenny Lisovicz had two points.

McMahon had seven points in the 56-24 loss at Immaculate Conception of Montclair on Jan. 6. Lisovicz had six points and sophomore Ava Rollo chipped in four points.

Glen Ridge was scheduled to host Verona on Jan. 9.
