GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls’ lacrosse team boasted a strong 4-1 record through April 7.
Senior attacker Maggie Smith scored four goals; freshman midfielder Gretchen Gilmore had three goals and one assist; and senior midfielder Galen Lew and sophomore attacker Claire McMahon each had three goals in a 14-6 win at Mahwah on April 7. Senior midfielder Colleen Grady had one goal and two assists and Lily Kinley made seven saves.
In their previous game, Grady scored eight goals and added an assist, but the Ridgers lost to Oak Knoll, 17-13, for their first loss of the season on April 5 at Watsessing Park. Lew had two goals and one assist; Gilmore had two goals and Smith had one goal. Kinley made seven saves.
