Glen Ridge HS girls’ lacrosse team moves to 2-1

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – Madison Grady had four goals and two assists; Gretchen Gilmore had three goals and two assists and Samantha Lovit scored three goals to lead the Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity lacrosse team to a 14-4 win over Newark Academy on April 6 at Watsessing Park.

Claire McMahon had two goals and two assists for the Ridgers, who improved to a 2-1 record on the season. Jennifer Lisovicz had a goal and an assist; Sarah Looney had a goal and Campbell Moriarty and Charlotte Smith each posted an assist. Lily Kinley made seven saves in net.

In earlier action, Glen Ridge fell at Westfield, 13-10, April 5. Gilmore had four goals and one assist; McMahon had three goals and two assists; Looney scored twice and Smith added a goal.
