GLEN RIDGE, NJ – Lindsay Jaiyesimi, a junior, scored two goals; senior Galen Lew had one goal and senior Collen Grady dished out two assists to lead the Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity soccer team to a 3-2 win at Millburn on Sept. 12 in a Super Essex Conference-American Division game. Junior Victoria Woznick made seven saves for GRHS.
It was the Ridgers’ first win of the season as they moved to 1-1.
GRHS fell to divisional foe Montclair, 3-1, in the season opener on Friday, Sept. 9 at Watsessing Park field. Grady scored the goal for the Ridgers. Woznick made seven saves.
