Glen Ridge HS girls’ soccer team tops Roselle Park for first win of season

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity soccer team defeated Roselle Park, 2-0, Sept. 15, for its first win of the season.

Tara Feenaghty and Ania Prussak scored for the Ridgers. Sydney Mansfield had an assist, and freshman Elettra Giantomenico posted five saves for the shutout.

Glen Ridge then lost to Millburn, 3-0, Sept. 17 at Carteret Park to move to a 1-4 record.

In previous action, the Ridgers lost to West Orange, 5-1, Sept. 12 at Watsessing Park. GRHS fell to at Verona, 5-4, Sept. 14.
