GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls’ varsity tennis team had a good run in the Essex County Tournament.

The Ridgers lost to Caldwell, 3-2, Sept. 22, at the Althea Gibson Center in Newark in the consolation final. On Sept. 20, GRHS lost to West Orange in the first round but defeated Irvington in the consolation quarterfinal round and Nutley in the consolation semifinal.
