Glen Ridge HS track and field teams compete at Essex County Championships

GLEN RIDGE, NJ — The Glen Ridge High School boys and girls track and field teams gave good efforts at the Essex County Championships on Thursday and Friday, May 16-17, at Schools Stadium in Newark.

Snior Natalie Shaw finished 18th in the girls javelin with a throw of 80 feet and senior Bradley Koenig finished 18th in the boys 400-meter intermediate hurdles in 1:01.72.

Sophomore Claire Liotta leaps over a hurdle and places 14th of 30 in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 1 minute, 15.95 seconds.
Sophomore Ryan Bressler rounds the first turn and runs 57.31
seconds, 63rd of 72, in the 400-meters.
Sophomore Liam Cooney leaped 16 feet, 9 1/2 inches to finish 50th of 52 in the long jump.
Sophomore Sannah Saraogi, right, competes in the girls 1,600 meters and finishes 22nd of 40 with a 5:58.75 time.
Junior Jude Broderick throws the javelin. He threw 111 feet, 6 inches to finish 24th of 41.
Junior Kyle Piano, left, runs in the boys 1,600 meters and clocks 5:12.31 to place 36th of 41.
Senior Elijah Kahl leaps over a hurdle and runs 1:03.18 in the 400-meter intermediate hurdle to finish 30th of 53.
