Glen Ridge HS track and field teams give good efforts at Essex County Relays

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams competed at the Essex County Relays held at Livingston HS on Friday, May 4.

In the boys’ team long jump, Isaiah Webster took second overall at 20 feet-9 1/2 inches and Zach Debelak was 29th at 17-6 1/2 to combine for sixth place overall.

The boys’ team intermediate hurdles relay finished 10th in 3:24.47.
On the girls’ side, the distance medley relay team took eighth in 14:12.09 and the girls’ 4×800-meter relay team finished 10th in 10:52.81.

The GRHS teams will gear up for the Super Essex Conference Championships on Saturday, May 12, at Schools Stadium in Newark.
