GLEN RIDGE, NJ – Glen Ridge High School boys’ and girls’ indoor and outdoor track and field head coach Ira Ford was honored at halftime during last Thursday’s home boys’ basketball game versus Nutley. He is leaving New Jersey within a week to get ready for his one-year military duty at Ford Hood, Texas to start on March 8. Ford will spend about 20 days in Texas to set up his one-year stint and then return to New Jersey for a week.
GRHS Director of Student Activities, Tim Liddy, arranged the halftime festivities.
The Ridgers won the basketball game, 62-38.
