SUMMIT, NJ — Kent Place School has announced that six members of the 2021 graduating class have been recruited to play college sports. Among those students are Glen Ridge residents Audrey Alix, who will play Division III field hockey for Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., and Skylar Lienhardt, who will play Division III lacrosse at the University of Chicago.

“For me, Hamilton was an easy choice,” Alix said. “My first time on campus I could immediately sense the energy of a passionate student body and a supportive faculty. The school’s motto, ‘Be Who You Are,’ resonated strongly with me.”

All six students have been playing sports since elementary school.

“Lacrosse has been a lifelong passion,” Lienhardt said.

“I’m so pleased for these student athletes,” Kent Place Athletic Director Bobbi Moran said. “They’ve each worked incredibly hard to prepare themselves for this next level and I’m sure they’ll continue to make all of us very proud. It’s been an honor to watch them grow, and I’m grateful to their coaches and families for supporting our Dragon programs.”
