GLEN RIDGE, NJ — Three Ridgers competed in the State Group 1 track and field meet at Pennsauken High School in Camden County on June 11. Max Renteria placed 16th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.79. Amayah Melbourne finished 21st in the shot put with a 25-foot, 3-inch toss. Nick Ruggerio placed fourth in the 400-meter run with a 50.44 time. Ruggerio advanced to the Meet of Champions, to be held in South Plainfield on Saturday, June 19; the top six finishers in each event qualify for the Meet of Champions.
