Irvington HS boys’ soccer team extends winning streak to four games

IRVINGTON, NJ – The Irvington High School boys’ varsity soccer team defeated North Star Academy and Cedar Grove to extend its winning streak to four games and improve to a 4-1 record.

Frank Peprah scored two goals and Joseph Stoichkov had a goal and four assists to lead the Blue Knights to an 8-1 win over North Star Academy on Sept. 18 at Irvington Park.

Costadinov Joseph had a goal and an assist; Daniel Jeudy, Mezie Onyeneke, Pamalang Njie, and Bryam Tacuri each had a goal; and Prince Pierresaint made eight saves for the Blue Knights.

Stoichkov netted a hat trick and assisted on Joseph’s goal in the 4-1 win at Cedar Grove on Sept. 21. Joseph and Alexandre Loubens each had an assist. Pierresaint made five saves.
