UPDATED: Irvington HS football team defeats Millburn; gears up for Bergen Catholic

IRVINGTON, NJ – The Irvington High School varsity football team defeated Millburn, 44-17, Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22, at Millburn.

The Blue Knights snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to a 2-2 record.

Irvington will travel to Oradell to face Bergen Catholic on Saturday,  Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. Bergen Catholic was the No. 1 team in the state before losing to St. Peter’s Prep on Sept. 14.

Bergen Catholic, which moved down to No. 2 in the state, regrouped to beat Don Bosco Prep, 14-13, Sept. 22 to improve to 3-1.
