Irvington HS girls’ basketball teams falls in first round of state tournament

IRVINGTON, NJ – The 14th-seeded Irvington High School girls’ varsity basketball team lost at third-seeded Warren Hills, 72-29, in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 state tournametn on Monday, Feb. 26.

Tiara Mahon had nine points; Celine Cesaer and Charizma Thomas each had six points; Aniya Massey had three points; Jenneha Lowe and Yannah Robinson each had two points and Herbina Exume added a free throw for IHS, which ended its season with a 7-16 record.
