IRVINGTON, NJ — The Irvington High School girls varsity soccer team kicked off its season and is looking forward to having a fantastic year, said head coach Kaleigh DeLucca. The team had a 2-3 record through Sept. 18 with wins over Payne Tech and Newark Central.
“In addition to the returning roster of talented young athletes, we have introduced a number of new future superstars into our soccer family!” DeLucca said. “The growing numbers in our program and their dedication to this sport make the coaching staff incredibly confident in how this program will continue to grow and be successful! I am very proud of what this team has already accomplished and hopeful for what we will continue to accomplish for this season!”
