IRVINGTON, NJ – The Irvington High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams hosted a tri-meet against Nutley and Barringer on April 5 to begin the season. The boys and girls defeated Barringer and lost to Nutley.

IHS boys’ head track and field coach Marvin Hawkins was also inducted into the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame during the induction ceremony held at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village in Princeton on Sunday, April 8. Hawkins also is the cross-country coach and indoor track coach at IHS.
